Remembering is the glue of humanity, and of each human personality.
Music is only beautiful because of memory.
A shiur is only interesting because of memory.
The events that are glued together make up our selfhood.
What if we could choose what to remember? Like that box that asks us if we want to save the file we were working on before we shut down the program?
