#BlogElul Day 9: See

As I said yesterday, seeing is apprehending the whole picture, at once.  Not just one piece at a time, which is how hearing works.  The higher-level connection to Hashem, the one experienced in Jerusalem, is called “Seeing”.  Jerusalem was named “God sees” or “God is seen” by Avraham.
There’s an old idea that’s floated around for years that while the Babylonian Talmud introduces a supporting text by saying “Come and hear”, while the Jerusalem Talmud and the Zohar introduce a text by saying “Come and see”.
What items are clear to you in a “I hear you” way, and which are clear in a “Now I see” way?
